ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
HH Khalkha Rinpoche visited the Institute in 2007 and offered his support to Venerable Chris because “he liked what she was doing” and indicated that what she is doing is very different to mainstream Buddhism.
In 2008, HE Khejok Rinpoche visited HH Khalkha Rinpoche in Dharamsala, India, and requested that HH Khalkha Rinpoche become Patron of the Institute on the grounds “that Venerable Chris had started something new stemming from teaching Buddhism in a Traditional Tibetan Medical Institute”.
HH Khalkha Rinpoche accepted the offer of Patronage in 2008 in recognition of Venerable Chris’s Overcoming Problems Program and the Institute.
